The band, shortened to Wings, began with Paul and his wife Linda, with their first album, 'Ram', being released that same year and hitting the Number 1 spot on the UK Charts. The DVD release was a disappointment for fans expecting an expanded edition with extra footage not use in the Disney+ stream.

Produced in cooperation with Paul and Ringo, along with John and George's widows Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison, the 97-minute long film follows the boys' careers while touring from 1962 to 1966.
