It felt like this was the adorable little bow on top of my bookpile that I finished this year and I couldn't express through words how it's deserving of that. There's no chance for things to get truly graphic, however, as Nakamura snaps out of it pretty quickly. So, I absolutely loved the first book and thought it was adorable but also a breath of fresh air for BL manga. although he may exhibit some strange, questionable behavior toward his crush, he wants nothing but hirose's happiness in the end. The style is very much classic 90s shoujo romcom manga (think: Marmalade Boy, Kodomo no Omocha, etc), straight down to the cover design (that color combination!

You’re allowed to like stuff that isn’t 100% sanitary anyway, but it’s also ridiculous to blindly promote something as “wholesome” just because you loved parts of it so much you didn’t notice that something was off. One comment Syundei makes about Chapter 4: ‘This story came about because I was thinking “How can I sneak girl characters into a Boy’s Love manga? Ever since the school entrance ceremony, Nakamura has admired his jovial classmate, albeit from a distance due to his poor social skills.

i wouldn't have a problem with it if it weren't for the previous volume (maybe im just overthinking idk). I really hope they come out with another volume about this story, Nakamura is adorable and so is Hirose. As for my problems with this manga outside of that: I found Nakamura kind of annoying and just downright weird. for example, the ongoing relationship between hirose and their homeroom teacher was a bit questionable, as it was previously alluded that hirose may have a crush on him. Sometimes Hirose wears a different shirt under the jacket, but that is most prevalent in his summer uniform.

Obviously I would love to see more of Nakamura’s life and antics but I would also love to see more from Syundei!I would love to see more and see Nakamura’s story progress, especially since we do see some growth in the last chapter, but alas.

I couldn’t take any part of the story seriously because of it, but the more serious parts are not all that riveting or groundbreaking to begin with. The strongly introverted Nakamura fantasizes about speaking to Hirose and often attempts to integrate himself into scenarios that would allow the two to interact, though the majority end in comedic failure. I can't believe there's a huge amount of wholesomeness and adorableness in such a short and quick read! Featuring a vibrant rainbow design, and our super-sized Q logo, you won't find a more stylish way to make a statement. At Anime NYC 2023, Anime News Network had the opportunity to sit down with the voice actor Kazuki Ura, the voice of BLUELOCK's main protagonist Isagi, and Ryoya Arisawa, the producer of the hit sports anime BLUELOCK. Sou Otogiri ( 乙切想, Otogiri Sou) Voiced by: Toshihiko Seki (audio drama) [3] Nakamura's homeroom teacher.
