Though it’s by and large linear and two dimensional in its presentation of parts, a modicum of depth came creeping into the stage here and there throughout my listens. Recharge the battery quickly in 2 hours - or get an extra 2 hours of juice with only 5 minuets of charge! Once you have connected your smartphone, you can use the controls on the headphones to play your music, navigate to a previous track or next track and pause the playback. You can plug these headphones into your PC or the controller for your PlayStation and Xbox consoles using the included 1/8" TRS cable, though you can only receive audio and can't use the microphone.

While many headphone makers are shifting to touch panels, JBL has kept its tried and tested touch of buttons on the bottom right side, covering volume up, music control, volume down, and then separated by small sections, noise cancellation and power. That said, the leakage won't be too noticeable if you're listening at loud volumes in a moderately noisy environment like an office. If the product condition is poor or it otherwise requires a closer look we may review them in-person. Also, they aren't stable enough to stay on your head if you move around a lot, and they aren't rated for water resistance, though that's expected since they're over-ears. For instance, listening to The Beatles, we were offered a fairly spacious soundstage where the percussion wasn’t lost to anything, while the bass guitar and drums had ever so slightly more grunt than the wailing guitar, with the vocals just matching nicely. This aligns with other JBL headphones we've tested and indicates the manufacturer's quality control and ergonomics.

These headphones are what they are, with no extra app control, no equaliser settings, and no changes to the buttons. Depending on your listening habits, you may prefer either the Beats Solo Pro Wireless or the JBL Tune 760NC Wireless. Listen wirelessly for 35 hours with active noise cancelling for long-lasting fun, or for 50 hours with ANC off. Though its smooth and not at risk of causing high-frequency pain for listeners, it’s not quite as lush and immersive as the rest of the signature. Not only does this allow for instant connection, you can also pair multiple devices simply by a quick tap on the device’s screen. If you’re using the headphones to switch between two devices – such as a TV and smartphone or smartphone and Hi-Res music player – Multi-Point Connection means you’re always connected, making switching between the two effortless. For over 70 years, JBL has engineered the impressive sound found in the biggest and best venues around the world.

You can pair them with up to two devices simultaneously, which is handy if you switch audio sources frequently. It’s even on earphones that don’t have noise cancellation, likely because the feature is in demand just that much.At a normal listening volume, there are some slight peaks, but this can be hard to hear with real-life content. Two years ago we reviewed the JBL Tune 600BTNC, a pair of on-ear headphones with much the same focus on design, and two years on, nothing has changed, even if the market clearly has. With no app support in the Tune 760NC, there’s no way of customising the type of cancellation, while the buttons just give you ANC on and ANC off, dealing with the outside in rather simplistic ways. For a longer battery life, you can also switch off the function at any time, it uses the battery as an energy source. Start paying for your goods from the first month and pay the same amount every month with a standard interest rate charge.

On the one hand, you get a pair of headphones that’s comfortable to wear and sounds great a good 90 percent of the time. In songs like Cherish the Day by Sade, the bassline sounds powerful and full-bodied when it comes in at 1:38. The ANC helps to reduce some bass-heavy background noise, but you may still hear the rumble of bus and plane engines. They don't have a very portable design and can feel uncomfortable after long listening sessions due to their tight fit. Their integrated microphone has a decent recording quality, so your voice is understandable but also thin.If its features such as included microphone sound attractive to you, then it may be worth looking into. You also won’t find any app support for the Tune 760NC, with this pair refusing to register with the JBL app, meaning there’s no way to customise them.
