reading the third book to the series has left me so disappointed unfortunately, i fell in love with a glasgows kiss and each sequel has made me resent Zara the main character even more. The plot went from bad to worse, like what the hell was that moment when she hooked up with the guard at the engagement party? In 2020, Sophie started writing again as a distraction from the ongoing pandemic, cheered on by fans of her hilarious blog, ‘Sex in the Glasgow City’.

And, just like that, Zara’s on a plane to Milan to crash the most talked-about engagement of the year! The characters were all so terribly loud, and I felt like they were constantly yelling because of all the goddamn exclamaitionmarks.I also didn’t get any idea why Zara has any friends at all ;she may be presented as zany but has the morals of an alley cat and from her shallow slovenly behaviour appears not to fully appreciate her long suffering friends . These guides are still packed full of inspiration and have plenty of great tips for things to see, do, eat and drink, but we can't be sure that every place we've recommended is still open or quite the same as it was when we wrote about it. Thank you Sophie for providing this lighthearted, relatable series laced some Glasgow humour - it’s been a real joy to read.

Although Zara still did some really stupid things and was still a little slutty a couple of times, I felt like on the whole she had really grown. There is no depth to the characters, the main character is a super annoying, spoiled girl showing a terrible example to everyone who reads this book. Read this book on holiday easy read, I did enjoy Glasgow Kiss more and feel Zara was more of a villain in this novel. It's been a while since we updated some of our city guides, in that time the world has changed a lot. Durante o período de teste, é possível usufruir de todos os benefícios da assinatura de maneira gratuita. From the blurb I expected a Rom Com adventure based around the upcoming engagement party of ex boyfriend triggering doubts about Zara having made the biggest mistake of her life in finishing with Tom ( the ex ) and journeying to Milan to find out .

Sophie's clever narrative strikes a balance between hilarity and poignancy, ensuring that even the most comedic moments carry layers of emotional authenticity. Well, the third on this series was a big improvement on the previous two, though Zara Smith is still the most unlikeable, unbelievable central character, but at least there was more of a storyline this time, and not just continuous descriptions of Tinder dates. The books featured on this site are aimed primarily at readers aged 13 or above and therefore you must be 13 years or over to sign up to our newsletter. It was a cute ending to the series and as much as Zara was terrible friend and girlfriend this book I love how she is gaining some midgen of self respect LOL! A Glasgow Kiss, her debut novel, shot straight to number one in the erotic charts and has been a word-of-mouth sensation ever since.
