The freedom that Hughes is seeking is the freedom to evade his responsibilities as a father and have an affair with Assia Wevill. There are times when I wanted the worst for you, Hoping you would understand The roots of my thoughts. The poems in Euphoria take your breath away with their depth of vision, passion of thought, and beauty of expression. Everyday People is a collection of 8 short stories, and true to its title, it is about people we meet and know in our daily lives.Accessible and thought-provoking, from the short, humorous poems such as If to the longer ones such as Compassionate People and Smokescreen, this beautifully written, accessible collection shows us the importance of such moments to our sense of humanity and self. He graduated from William Paterson University with a double major in History and Secondary Education in 2019. Love, loneliness, God, family and more are all portrayed in this short but thought-provoking work of art in such a beautifully artistic way, before I had even reached the 5'th poem I knew I had found something special in this book. He is the author of four best-selling poetry collections— Sincerely, Euphoria, Prayers of My Youth, and Serenity.

I long for the day I wake up to your wholesome eyes, and the ripeness that comes with you after a long night. At first I felt this book was a little slow paced and simple, but sticking with it showed me how amazing it was. Each poem was beautifully written and was like releasing a breath of toxic air to clear your lungs to inhale fresh air. Now that her husband’s freedom has shown itself also to be crushingly banal, Plath has to work out her own sense of what freedom is. At times, the sadness is overwhelming but the collection is carried by the ambition to find and occupy a space between sadness and joy, to a least temporarily balance the scales of contemporary life. Think of the poem Nick and the Candlestick, in which Plath, walking with a candlestick to her son’s bedroom, becomes a miner alongside “waxy stalactites”, the baby’s room a womb exuding “black bat airs”.
