About this deal

Usually grown as an annual here in the UK, this long-flowering plant can be a great choice for gardens that do not have as much space for planting, as these bright blooms can also work well as a stand-alone plant in a very small area. You can use either a cutting wheel, scalpel, or a knife to cut out the petals. Cut the daisy shape in half then in half again, so you have 4 quarters. Proceed to cut each petal so they become individual petals. You will immediately have 16 petals. For each flower you will need to make 20 -25 petals. These herbaceous perennials grow one to two feet wide and up to three feet tall. They form clumps that look like low bushes. These flowers are also valued for their medicinal uses. Gerberas are used as a treatment against cough and cold, headache, mouth sores, and rheumatism. Recommended Varieties of Gerbera Daisies

Also known as the common daisy or lawn daisy, the English daisy ( Bellis perennis) is one of the most common daisy species. While native to Europe, the English daisy has taken over many Australian and American lawns that don’t clear from mowing and are quite invasive — hence the name “lawn daisy.” The common daisy plant grows up to 10 cm in height. The leaves are blade oblanceolate or obovate (2) and form a rosette at the base of the plant. Emerging from the base are several stems with each stem holding a flower head.Yellow ray flowers and green foliage disc flowers. As the flower matures, the disc flowers expand into seeds and create a green ‘cone’ in the middle of the flower. Make sure to give them plenty of sun in free-draining soil if you’d like them to flower to their full potential. 16) Daisy Bush

In landscaping, purple coneflowers look great in mass plantings for perennial beds. They attract butterflies and many types of birds, which make them ideal additions in a butterfly garden. Recommended Varieties of Purple ConeflowersCommon dandelions grow from a basal rosette with a long taproot. They will take over whatever amount of space they can colonize. Sometimes they will grow as a single plant, other times they will entirely take over a disturbed area, such as the margins of a parking lot. Chamomile is one of my favourite daisy-like flowers as it is a low-maintenance perennial that is a great companion plant for lots of shrubs, trees and vegetables. Arctotis hybrid ‘Wine’ daisy flower has delicately-colored pink and white petals in a fan shape. The petals are darker nearer the center which is a grayish-white color.
